the woman had not meant to effect him. did not seem to have known
she was until he had mentioned something. that enough told him not
to get any closer, though he wanted to see if she was alright. anyone
else would have been furious. perhaps even thought that she had
meant what had happened. no such anger blinded him. it was not until
he had gathered himself and managed to stand up straight that he
turned his head back to her. the apology came as she tucked into herself,
brows furrowing before he shook his head.
